    I’m trying to create this “smear” effect in my video:

    but I can’t seem to figure out how…
    Iv’e tried multiple filters but I came to the conclusion that it must be some kind of plugin.
    or maybe i’m just making it the wrong way…

    Put frame blending on and then export and import it as the crappiest jpeg sequence you can make 😉

    I messed around a little with CC Wide Time and Time Displacement powered by a fractal to get that square look. So I uploaded the project and you can just drop the footage into the comp and see if it helps or gives you some new ideas on how to proceed.
