  Reconnect clips to FCP7 camera archive after SendtoX

  Hi,

  I have (finally) abandoned FCP7 and moved my old projects using SendtoX, now using FCP 10.3.4.

  Where media was available, this has worked very smoothly, but where it wasn’t, I now have timelines with NO file reference (they still contain timecodes, so there is hope…). ‘Reconnect to media’ produces an empty list and ‘Reimport from camera/archive’ is greyed out.

  This is unfortunate because I have (old) camera archives on a disk. They typically contain names like ‘Untitled1.mov’ inside a folder bearing their tape number, and Untitled1.mov is a whole-tape capture. How can I persuade FCP X that it needs to look for a file, and this is the file it needs, a single large file containing all the clips?
