  Best Output Setting Option from Series of Still Images?

  I’m using Compressor to output a series of still images into a QuickTime movie. There are so many output options available, e.g. Apple ProRes 422, etc. I want my edited Final Cut movie to be full resolution with some additional version copies at lower resolution.

  What would be the best output option to use when I’m now outputting the series of images into a QuickTime movie? Apple ProRes 422?

  I typically use pro res 422 as my image sequence output that then goes into FCP. You can set up multiple compression presets in compressor- which you probably already know and then drop you stills into a batch and get the various output formats you want.
