  4500$ iMac (Professionel editing system)

  I have about 4500$ for a new iMac.
  I’m a professionel filmeditor(FCP/AVID) and also doing some compositing in AE and planning working with 3DMAX and Cinema4D as well.

  I have come up with the following setup based on research.

  iMac i7 3.4GHz
  16GB ram
  1GB ATA + 1GB Lacie Little Big Disc (Thunderbolt)
  1GB GFX card

  Is this the absolute ideal setup for my type of work ?

  Cool.! Do you know anything about the develpment in harddrive pirces ?
  Perhaps I should wait a month with the thunderbolt
