  Cut at current-time indicator

  Hi Guys.
  I’m novice and trying to make very simple operation:

  just to cut the audio on several pieces.

  I have found that I can make it by Ctrl-K, but sometimes it works, sometimes not..

  Can anyone explain from what does that depend?
  Hope that not from the magnetic storms or day of the month 🙁

  cntl + K opens the composition settings window. I don’t know how you are performing a cut doing that.

  Shift + cntl + d performs a cut on the selected layer at the CTI
