  Hi guys! I’m having such a hard time with this, once you have your layers in PSD, once you’re in FCP… Can you edit the text in FCP or you need to go back to PSD and edit the text? Can’t you do it directly in FCP? Thanks by advance!

  No…the text is part of the PSD file. If done in PSD, it needs to be changed in PSD. Even FCX can’t dig into a PSD file and change the text.

  That’s very sad news Shane! I need to change hundreds of pieces and i wanted to build a master piece and changed it directly. Wow… Thank you!

  You should add your PSD to a Motion file without the text and use a Motion Title published to FCPx and the text can be changed in FCPx
