    Hello everybody!

how can i achive changing colors of some shapes or text in time, ie. how to change colors with a certain color and order of that colors to appear in certain time but without other colors and tones (of the “color wheel”)in between ?
i did try with layer – color overlay and with effects – hue saturation but i didn`t get result that i wanted

i hope this question is not to much confusing as i`am as confused beginner in AE 🙂

You can try Effect>Generate>Fill and choose a color. Then use Hold Keyframes (KFs) to jump from one color to the next.

Or, if you want it to fade, you can have multiple copies with different colors and then animate the opacity of the top one.

Alternately, you could set up a Tint effect with your two different colors and make your object fade from black to white and the Tint will be making it go from one color to another.
