  Offset on Multiple Photos

  I am doing some quick & dirty photo montages.
  I can import 30 -60 photos at a time.
  I start the comp at the length I need the photos.
  Then I can do a batch opacity fade out.
  Then I reset the comp for the length needed.
  Is there a way to bring in multiple elements
  with a time offset so that I do not have to
  move photo individually??

  Not sure if I totally understand but have you considered using the keyframe assistant “Sequence Layers”. Add all of your layers to a comp, select them all and trim them to the desired length ( ALT + ] ) then right click on one of the layers (still selected) and choose KEYFRAME ASSISTANT > SEQUENCE LAYERS. There is also an option to cross fade in there too.
