Color Finale crashes FCP after upgarding to 10.3.1
I was using El Capitan + FCP 10.2.3 and Color Finale
After a SSD crash, I had my mac fixed by a technician and I started afresh with Sierra, FCP 10.3.1. As I opened my project, it denoted that Color FInale was missing, so I quit and installed Color Finale, which as part of the instalation, opens FCP X. As soon as the project loaded, FCP X crashed out, accusing Color Finale to be the reason. And now whenever I open that project in FCP X, it crashed out. When I open another project, with no COlor FInale applied yet, I’m fine, but as soon as i try to add Color FInale to a clip, crash out.
Any ideas? -

Just checking you did install the latest version of colour Finale? And I can’t remember the details because it didn’t apply to me but there was a Color Finale tech note sent out to users just recently about the latest version of Sierra + Color Finale + a certain graphics chip causing a crash and asking users not to update the OS until there was a fix.
