  • Is it possible to disable actions in the built-in “Custom”title?

I want to fade and blur in some text, animate its tracking, and then fade and blur it out. I figured I could do that with the Custom title. After keyframing opacity to fade it in, the characters “sequence” in . I’ve experimented with various combinations of “In Sequencing” and “In Unit Size”, and their Out variations, to no avail — and I can’t find any documentation that details them. Is it possible to bypass the sequencing effect entirely? I’ll disable it in Motion if someone can tell me how.

Second, I’ve experimented with using the Out Tracking parameter to have the characters smoothly spread out but they jump suddenly early in the move. Is this thing documented anywhere?

    Thanks!

Your best bet would be to open a copy of the title in Motion and modify it there.

(For some reason I can\’t edit my own posts so apologies in advance for the stupid mistakes and bad English that I can\’t go back and fix)
