    Hi,

I’m having an issue with the color of my footage.

Very suddenly during the clip, it shifts from green to pink and back again.

The clip below shows an example – if you look at the first picture of the girl’s face it dips into green then pink…

The factors at play here are:

Filming on A7s – XAVCS mode
Filming in Slog2picture profile – using an Slog2 to 709 LUT converter within fcpx
Filming with 28-70 zoom kit lens
Editing in Final cut pro version 10.1.3
Exporting as Apple Prores – but same occurs with h.264

Thanks for any suggestions as to what the problem could be!

What version of OS X? I vaguely remember that sort of thing happening in older versions of FCPX when OS X moved to AV Foundation but from memory it was happening when plugins were applied rather than just a straight export. Could be related though as you are running a fairly ancient version of FCPX.

Not that this is directly related to your problem but I noticed when using a LUT in FCPx when the footage is paused vs when playing the footage has a greener cast to it. Probably some bug. Not sure why your issue does not effect the entire clip though.
