Is there any way to increase the size of the audio waveforms in the browser?
In the browser, while logging footage, I want to increase the size of the audio waveforms in interviews cause it lets me better navigate when the talent is talking.
I have researched online but I can’t find any way to do it.
Is there a way to do this?

Use the “Clip Appearance” button down next to the Zoom slider:
The second option gives you the best balance between the video and audio waveforms.

In the browser? No. Or only in as much as you can adjust the clip height using the view options. Unlike the timeline, there’s no audio only view.

Is there an magnify utility tool in OSX?
I teach FCPX at local college and use the zoom screen option but Id like something thats just smallish window.

Do you need to zoom in on the vertical or the horizontal? Most people need more horizontal (temporal) to select particular phrases and such. The vertical is just a relative reference of volume no matter how big you make it. If you just need to zoom in closer on the horizontal scale, why not just increase the length of your filmstrips?
