Separate audio with Sony CX900 and Final Cut PRO/X
I have recorded a few clips with a Sony CX900, XLR-K2M adapter and two Røde lavs with XLR-connectors.
My problem is that I can’t separate each channel in edit in Final Cut when recording sound with videocamera,
It works as supposed with a recording done via a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to computer when I separate the channels in Audacity. if importing as a stereo, then it’s the same as with the camera. It also works with my Zoom H2N or a borrowed Zoom H6.
Is it a limitation with the camera or with Final Cut? Plan B is to buy me a Zoom H6 to record sound separate as I know that it works as I have a four interviews to be shot next Friday.
