i’m trying to create a presets folder that holds only my favorite presets that i use the most

will save me a ton of time having to go thru all the folders to reach the same 10-12 presets all the time

how can i create a folder and place my favorite factory presets in them?

i did it the other way arround – i added a number in front of the presets (in my case the “17fx” becouse my bussines runs under a 17 and everybody needs to get aware of the number… muahahah –> just kiddin)

SO: if i type a 17 in the FX-Search window, i get all my presets

    hope that helps

You can create a special folder and move the effects into it. Find ‘Computer/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe After Effects CS*/Support Files/Presets’
Put folder in here. You can run into trouble if you move a part of a plugin and not the whole thing (Optical Flares, etc.) so try them out as you move them.
Also to get a folder to stay near the top make its name like this:

    __Folder Name__
