    Would I be able to edit HD video and some 4K footage with FCP X on a 21.5-inch iMac with the following specs:

    3.1GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
    Apple 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM -2X8GB
    512GB Flash Storage
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 1GB GDDR5

    Good question. HD yes; but 4 K??? Please post if you find out.

    I’ve edited some basic 4k stuff on an 11″ MacBook Air so I’d assume you could get away with it on that spec iMac. It probably won’t be the most fun you’ve ever had but it’ll probably work. Using proxies will help a lot.
