    Hi,

I just rendered some illustrator files(outlined) with the animation codec and they are appearing blurry when I play the quicktime with the “present movie” setting. Any ideas how I can fix this? Is there a better codec for illustrator files?

    Thank You,

    Heather

Animation is basically a lossless codec, so it doesn’t get better than that when working in 8-bits-per-channel. (10-bits-p-c is currently overkill for many situations and won’t play smoothly on most machines)

Soooo … have you checked “high quality enabled” in the Quicktime properties? Open the movie, hit cmd-J (ctrl-J on windows) and look for the quality setting.

I’ll try that now. Thank you sooooooo much for the suggestions.
