Adding Transition to Text in Secondary Storyline
Posted by Sascha Engel on April 9, 2015 at 10:42 amHi,
I have a weird problem:
When I have a text on the Secondary Storyline as Super over some images on the Primary Storyline,
and I ad a transition to the Text layer, it effects the entire image, also the one on the Primary Storyline.
How come?
Ut’s a sudden bug?Greetings,

April 9, 2015 at 12:41 pmSome transitions are only made to work between clips. Some can be modified in Motion to work properly with titlesand some can’t. In Motion you have to turn off A or B depending on if you want an incoming or outgoing transition.

April 9, 2015 at 1:33 pmWhen you have 7 layers stacked up and you want to slide or whoosh between them all, you’ll appreciate those transitions more.

April 9, 2015 at 2:33 pmYou are right, for that occasion it rocks, but I’d like to have a choice, and the fact that I cannont make it work stand alone only for the superimposed text layer really sucks.
I ended up doing it in AE, since due to deadline patience was low.Sascha Engel

April 9, 2015 at 8:05 pmTry these. They are copies of other transitions modified specifically for text.
