  • Aspect Ratio problem with M2TS video from Sony TG3E camera

    Hi there.
I’m new to After Effects, but I’ve been doing many videos in Sony Vegas. Though one of my big issues is the output format of my Sony TG3E camera.
When I record video on that camera, I don’t do it in Full HD, but I do it in HDV (1440×1080).
I have no problems at all importing that video into Sony Vegas, where I’ve set the aspect ratio to 1,33.
But when I import the video in After Effects, the video is recognized as a HDV video with an aspect ratio of 1,33. But when I then create a composition with those specifications, the video looks a lot more square (4:3), than widescreen, which it was supposed to look like.

Are there any other settings or aspect ratio things I need to specify too?

    Best Regards
