  export a list of all the generators and effects used in an FCPx project?

  Hello there –

  I’m working on a short documentary project. I’ve downloaded and installed many free generators and effects. I’d like to figure out which of these actually ended up in my project, so I can thank those people in my credits and give them an appropriate donation.

  Is there any way to review or export a list of all the generators and effects used in a project?

  Maybe this is what will nudge me to finally start browsing FCPx XML O.O

  Thank you for this link! Looks like what I’m looking for, except they don’t cover generators and titles. But they’ve been very responsive over email, and we’re going to run a test to see if they can pick that up.

  I also found this software https://www.spherico.com/filmtools/X-Files/X-FXHandler/ X-FXHandler which might do what I want as well. Experiments ahead –

  Thanks for the tip to check out Producer’s Best Friend. They didn’t explicitly break out 3rd party plug-ins but they responded to my email request and built that feature in to a new release a few weeks after I contacted them! Fabulous. I find the software very useful now in putting together my credits – getting a list of videos, music, plugins, etc. used in the video.

  Good stuff – I would now recommend it to other folks.
