  Generating visible original source time code windows in the FCPX timeline?

  A buddy needs to create a preview for clients where each clip on the timeline shows a window burn of the clip’s specific original time code. He does NOT want a single timeline time code display, but rather, for each clip on the timeline to show via burn-in what it’s own original time code is.

  What’s the most efficient way to do this in FCPx?

  Unfortunately there is no efficient way of doing this, since the timecode generator broke somewhere around 10.0.5. You literally have to go into the timeline of each clip individually and overlay it there. Sorry. A long standing request of mine, yes.
