  • Exporting v1.3 XML OR converting 1.4 to 1.3

I need to be able to export version 1.3 XML, NOT 1.4, so as to be compatible with the last version or Resolve 10.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

One last resort workaround is to import 1.4XML into Resolve 11, and then from Resolve export FCPX XML 1.3.

    Reopen Resolve 10 and import.

The problem with this approach is that you can’t have 2 versions of Resolve installed on the same partition.

You should follow me on Twitter here. My latest work

You’d need an older version of fcpx.

You could use Xto7 to make a regular XML, or EDL-X to make an EDL.

Or go through Resolve. As you say. I didn’t realize you couldn’t have at the same time though. Otherwise you’re left with what Jeremy suggests.
