  Which is more accurate – full screen playback or regular screen playback?

  Hi,

  I’m editing a music video with cuts on the beat and it seems like the timing of the cuts feels different if I’m watching in full screen playback verses just watching on the regular small screen.

  Are there possibly latency issues in full screen? (Maybe a frame or two?)

  Or is this just an optical illusion? (I’m working on an 11″ Macbook air so the small screen is quite small.)

  I would love some advice about what’s going on.

  Would you recommend to check timing of edits in full screen or regular screen?

  Maybe try exporting the project as a master and play it back in QT and see which it is. Is FC finished rendering. Generally I find that full screen image wise is more accurate. Not sure about audio issues.
