    Hello!

I’ve since deleted my original post but decided to re-enstate my previous inquiry on this subject. Again, any information at all about this situation would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been working on a couple projects in FCPX. After all my effects, clips, and texts render, I quit the project. When I re open it, FCPX always re-renders a large chunk of the project timeline. I’m wondering why this happens or if there is a way to prevent this from happening?

I can turn off Background Render but that wouldn’t prevent FCPX from opening up with Un-rendered files that were previously rendered.

I hope this post makes sense. Thank you so much for any help!

Its a bug. I’ve had that problem with older versions and with the current one as well. Sometimes when I render manually (ctrl+R) it doesn’t render everything, even when its done rendering, then I turn on background rendering to force render the remaining bits and pieces.
