  FCPX export frustration

  I’ve been trying and searching for days for my export problems and I have yet to find a soluton.

  I have FCPX 10.0.8

  Problem #1 I cant get my projects to upload to Vimeo or Youtube Via the share button. I run into long wait times. It moves 1% every 15 to 20 mins.

  Problem #2 I saved the default project, ran it through compressor and ended up with an hour of darkness after the video ended.

  What is the best way to accomplish the highest quality upload to Vimeo and Youtube?

  Please help

  Problem 2 means you must have left a whole bunch of Gap at the end of your clip. Nothing else would explain that as far as I can tell. That could be also the cause of problem 1. Did you have loads of clips in the timeline and shift delete it all leaving lots of Gap/(slug) at the end of the timeline?

  When you press shift+Z how much timeline do you see?
