FLV encoding
Hello CC.
I’m kind of new to all of this so please bear with me. I’ve created a video in AE that’s a combination of live video (keyed) and motion graphics. I’ve output the video as an MP4 at a resolution of 420×270 as this will be viewed only on the web.
Using a bitrate of just under 600, the 11 minute 35 second video is clocking in at around 51.1 Mb which is below the client’s requested 60Mb. The problem is that the client wants the file as an FLV.
I’ve tried all manner of conversion using Adobe Media Converter and it always looks terrible even though the file size is actually *larger*. I’ve also noticed that AMC always uses the On2 codec.
I had always thought that FLV supported H.264 so I’m wondering why I can’t seem to encode my video exactly as it is just as an FLV considering I’m using H.264…
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
