  Noise reduction and color correction – order of operations?

  I’ve got my edit and am ready to work on the color.

  I like to apply noise reduction first, then do color correction, then add back a bit of noise.

  How do I know/control at which point the color correction is applied?

  If you’re using the colour board then it’s applied last in the chain. If you want any other order, you need to use a plugin for your colour correction.

  If you want the cc to go in the middle of the chain then you could apply the noise reduction, then the cc. Then compound it and add the noise back in. Haven’t tried it but seems like that should work.
