  FCPX workflow

  I have a workflow question. What is the proper way of creating offline footage….. if i have footage on P2 cards do I need to transcode all the footage into something like h.264…. and then create a final cut, and then create an EDL file, and then….. what do i do. Sorry I usually work on projects using only online footage, but these days im working on bigger ones. What is the proper work flow for this kind of shiz?
