  Fix or Anchor Videos into Background

  Hi,
  I’m trying to place a video to show up in the backgroud but i would like to still display animation in the foreground, similar to how in kanye west through the wire

  the videos are in polaroid frames.

  i know how to place them there, but as you can see in the video the camera moves and the videos stay in the place on the background. when I try doing that I have to move the video around in every frame and it looks pretty sloppy. is there a way to anchor the videos to the backgound?

  You need to track the background to hold the videos in place. That can be done on Motion or AfterFX.

  it is not possible in final cut pro?

  AFAIK, FCPX does not have tracking at the moment. You have to do it with keyframes which as you’ve discovered is not easy and almost impossible when you want a solid lock.
