• Apple Final Cut Pro

  p2 and fcp x

  hello all,

  I use a panasonic hvx200 and have bought the new final cut.

  Most clips ingest fine, a select few do not.

  I go from Import from camera > open archive > select all the clips ( all clips play fine in here) > import > then I get a Import Failed box “the following clip encountered an error during import and is still referencing media on the camera: …. some clips import others get the import failed message

  furthermore, i can’t choose the share option at all.

  Does your camera have a Repair P2 capability? It’d be in the same menus you use when formatting P2 cards. Try that and see if it helps.
