I need to delete a clip but it’s connected to too many clips.

September 17, 2012 at 2:14 pmJust use “Replace with gap” function, it will delete the clip from the primary storyline and replace it with a gap. You won´t lose your connected clips. Look for it in your commands menu (FINAL CUT PRO > COMMANDS > CUSTOMIZE), I can´t remember the official shortcut because I rearrage all my keyboard shortcuts.

September 17, 2012 at 5:41 pmI can’t totally recall, but I think if you’re in P mode you’ll get the same. But yeah, shift+delete.
