    Hi Guys

I have a query that is now starting to do my head in, trying to fix ??!!

I have setup a new compound clip that is 720p. In this clip I will use footage that is 1080p. With this 1080p footage, I also have separate audio from a mike that I want to sync, so I have created a compound clip of this footage & audio together (by right clicking on the 1080p clip and selecting ‘new Compound clip’, with the size to be 1080p.

However, when I drop this 1080p compound clip into my 720p event timeline, the footage seems to be sized to fit, even though I have selected ‘none’ in ‘spacial footage’ menu.

This is annoying as I don’t want this 1080p footage on the timeline to appear and behave as 720p, especially when I have to scale up for cutaways, and even with my normal composition size.

I have attached a diagram to further illustrate what’s happening.

    Cheers

    Matt

Same thing just happened to me. You need to select “none” for the clips inside the compound clip as well as the compound clip its self
