One silent audio channel? Works in final cut express but not FCX
I’m trying to edit the audio of some footage that I shot on my Panasonic DVX100b. It records onto a DV tape and I archived and then imported it into FCX. When I shot the video, I recorded into a microphone on one channel and just used the camera’s microphone on the other channel. When I change the audio to dual mono in the inspector, it shows two audio tracks, however, only one has wavelengths and the other is completely silent. What happened to my microphone audio? I’ve tried importing it with different settings but it doesn’t make a difference. I KNOW the audio is recorded because when I capture it into final cut express, both the audio tracks show up and work just fine. I can’t figure out why it won’t work in FCX.
