Hey everyone. I recently got premiere and after effects, and I’m working on my first project with them. I like to make my cuts in premiere, and so I made my full cut. I went to after effects and hit import premiere project, selected the file, and it imported, but with terrible quality and weird dimensions. Does anyone know how to fix this? It was originally 1080p widescreen, if it matters. Thanks!

    Hi
Have a look at my tutorial on the premiere pro section on dynamic link. If you have the production premium or master suite dynamic link is what you want to use.

    Hope this helps

Have you tried messing with the aspect ratio correction switch on your comp? That should fix the “squished” appearance. And you might check what resolution your comp window is set to for the “poor quality”.
