Is it safe to assume that if you have a selection set smaller than the total timeline and you publish it,
that it will be limited to the selection area?

I want to break up a 1 hour project for you tub into 3 separate uploads.

    Thanks

    At FPCX current state no.
You can duplicate the project then put everything into a compound clip then duplicate that project three times each cut the way you want.
thats the theory, Ive never had to do it.

When you share using compressor you can select the specific region you want via IN and OUT points in the preview window. It’s an alternative to creating compound clips and multiple projects.
