  Importing Canon c300 files to FCP

  I shoot some test clips on my own CF card at a Canon c300 demo but can not seem to import the files in to FCP x.
  (running 10.0.2 on a macbook with 10.7.3)

  The Canon rep said just run them thru the Canon Utility, which is available on the canon web site. Apparently only the utility updater is available, not the actual app.

  Can the files be imported directly in to FCP?

  You will need to update your FCPX software to 10.0.3 and then install the new beta driver which can be downloaded from:

  https://usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/cinema_eos_cameras/eos_c300#DriversAndSoftware
