  Broadcast Monitors are overrated and unnecessary… maybe

  Just kidding. First off… I know. I have to have a calibrated broadcast monitor. I got it. But now that I’ve got your attention…

  Assume all broadcast monitors everywhere have been taken in the rapture, yet you still have to get some color grading done. What would you do to get as close as you can? What do you use? What kind of settings would you use? How would you try to calibrate something else?

  I have a pre-thunderbolt iMac, but I’m curious about any solutions you might try to come up with.

  I would use my Pantone paper color chooser ; )
