  downloaded FCPX trial at work. .dmg not recognized on iMac at home

  I have a slow satellite connection so I downloaded the .dmg file at work and brought it home to install. Put it on the desktop and clicked – and got a Warning message that “FCPX_Trial10.0.1.dmg not recognized”

  Having just converted over to Mac from PC I’m not sure what to do next.

  Most likely the download was not complete. Try again with the fast connection tomorrow.

  No, it’s complete. But the Apple support people looked into it and told me that the download MUST be done from my home computer. Thanks.
