  Single roller trim with dissolve

  I may be missing this somewhere. Can you do a single roller trim when a dissolve is there, using just the trim tool (not precision editor)? Everything I try simply changes the dissolve duration, but doesn’t lengthen or shorten the end of the A or B side of a shot change. Seems you have to use the precision editor – or alternatively – remove the dissolve, trim and add the dissolve back.

  There is a bar at the top of the transition. The handle in the center of the bar will roll; the handles on the end will ripple.
