When changing audio to dual mono it now peaks at over 0db??
Hi there, I’m working with a load of interviews where the radio mic is on track one and the gun mic is on track two. It is HDV material shot on a Sony Z1. Why is it that
1. When I capture the video the audio is automatically stereo. I would prefer if it wasn’t, I had to change all the audio setting to dual mono in the event browser before I started editing (I forgot to do this at first and I couldn’t change it once I had laid the clips onto the timeline which was annoying as I had to replace loads of cuts just so I could seperate the audio out
Why is it that once I have seperated the audio to dual mono it is now peaking everywhere. The levels seem to have juoed about 6db. I know it was correctly recorded as I did it myself.
Any ideas?
