  Audio in Timeline Scrubs but does not play

  I am using the trial version of FCP X. The “filmstrip” icons of some clip turn monochrome when i drag them to the timeline. Audio scrubs but will not play in timeline. Any advice?

  Open the timeline index and click the Roles button and turn back on the audio by checking the checkbox.
