Is there a way to assign keywords to your compound clips created in the timeline? The only way to get compound clips to appear in the event library, as far as I can tell, is to first create the compound clip in the event library. Please tell me I’m wrong so I can avoid a lot of copy/pasting to get compound clips into the event library!

    Many thanks,

    Michael

Single click the compound, open the inspector and change the name in the info tab.

You are right about compounds in the browser.

Renaming only changes the name for the clip in the timeline, correct? My goal is to use compound clips like sequences as others have suggested but it seems you have to have created the compound clip first through the event browser.

Yes. All of that is correct.
