BM announced new drivers for Lion today, along with a whole lot of commentary in the press release about new ways video is handled in Lion:

Which seems to support some speculation earlier that FCPX video out was going to need Lion and new drivers from AJA & BM before things could really get underway.

There’s been a few folks like Chris Kenny that have been binary diving to find out more. Anybody else read anything interesting about this?

I’m hoping/guessing there is going to be a 10.0.1 update to FCPX almost any day now now that Lion is out.

No FCPX support listed In the read me under software supported but the next graph says

“The drivers install components in to applications including Final Cut Pro 7 and Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. If you have installed the drivers prior to installing any of these applications, we recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the drivers. This will ensure that all relevant components are installed in their required locations.

    Best,
    Geoff
