  Crazy RAM Preview

  When I hit the num0 for the RAM Preview it only gives me a second or two of render. Now believe me when I say it’s not because of memory. This is happening to comps I have easily rendered before, even comps with just a blank layer. I’m thinking it’s a setting that got switched. The way it usually works: Hit 0, it renders frames. Hit 0 again it plays those frames. Hit it again and it stops playing.
  What its doing now: Ok, kind of sporadic. Hit 0, it renders a few frames, then it will play maybe, hitting 0 will not stop it – but toggle between rendering and playing. You get more RAM preview with each hit but will only do a few frames at a time. Anyone know what button it is I hit?

  This is AE CS3. And I have tried restarting AE and the computer.

  Things are just not going well today.
