  Eyedropper to select color from viewer or canvas

  In 7 you can match the color of say a text using eyedropper on viewer/canvas. I do not see that option in X. Is there a eyedropper function?

  Sure, if you click on the colour pot where you adjust text attributes instead of clicking down arrow, you will get the OS colour picker box. The first section has a magnifying glass you can choose to select any colour from onscreen.
