  Looking for effect

  hello again.

  I really hate to ask people for help but…..I am new to AE

  I have used this before and for the life of me cannot find the effect I used or a tutorial I may have used.

  I used an effect on text once that created a dispersal of large pieces of text along with smaller ones to tiny to create a kind of directed smash of the text.I believe it used a particle system.

  I have gone over some of the tuts for trapcode paticular and form and I dont think these are it.It may have been a combination, but that does not seem right either.I am pretty sure it was one effect.

  Basically the effect could parse out large pieces and smaller ones from same object.It may have been a 2 layered approach, but using shatter is not working out quite like it.

  Any one know of an effect in AE that does this? Or a related tutorial?
