Basically for my short film, I am not sure if this scene is necessary or not to tell the story, and maybe audiences would make sense of it without it.

Basically in the plot an auditor is assigned to audit a company to see if any fraud is about, so she goes down to audit, and then this where it picks up in the sequence clip.

In clip, the same sequence is shown twice, but the first time it has an extra scene in, and in the second sequence, the scene is missing. Is the scene missing, okay, and I don’t need it?

If your gut tells you it is not necessary it probably isn’t. Shorter is better in my opinion.
