  Syncing video shot at 24.01 to audio recorded with 23.98 timecode

  I’m working on an edit where footage will be shot on a phone at 24.01 (variable frame rate) and audio will be recorded by a separate audio station with 23.98 timecode. There will be other footage shot on a real camera at 23.98 and the final output will be 23.98.

  I’m planning on transcoding the 24.01 footage to 23.98 since the 24.01 source files will have variable frame rate.

  How do I make sure that I will be able to sync the audio properly?

  Sync to Ps and Bs and fit to fill each take.
