    Hello,

I run a small site that sells standard def stock footage, but have recently been making efforts to upgrade to hd. We have been making some very high quality timelapses that we are going to offer soon for download, and was wondering what the best deliverable format for HD stock footage would be from an editors standpoint. What would be the easiest HD codec/format to easily bring into Final Cut or Avid?

We have been playing with the HDTV format out of AfterEffects, which looks great, but the files are HUGE! I’m talking 11 gigs for less than a minute.. which is way to big for downloadable media.

Right now I am rendering a test with DVCPro HD 1080i.. and I’ll see how that goes.

So what would be the most desirable deliverable format for HD from an editors standpoint? Thanks.
