  Need advice/help on a hard project

  Hi guys! I have CS4 After Effects.

  I want to create something like this:

  I want to create an overlay that is the gauge in the video. How it fills up, what the little boxes say, the white glove, I want to be able to control it all.

  I just need some advice on where to start, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed (since I am an amateur video editor).

  I want to make this overlay, and impose it on a different video.

  Again, I just want to make an overlay with the bars and gauges, basically the ATB menu if you happen to have played the game above.
