  Vector Graphics In AE

  Does anybody know if there is a way to keep paths of an Illustrator file intact after importing the layered file into After Effects?
  I know it is possible to copy and paste single paths from illustrator to a solid in AE but I would like to avoid doing that to 200 layers :op
  Also: does AE always automaticly rasterize vector graphics when importing?
